Boris Ignachkov Numerous lawyers in Canada have volunteered to help people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. The Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA) created a list of lawyers that are willing to help those affected by the crisis.
Canada has recently opened a new immigration program designed specifically for Ukrainians who are want to come to Canada. Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUEAT) will provide Ukrainians with the right to reside in Canada and an option to apply for an open work permit within Canada.
